Orange County Wedding Photographer Wai Reyes Photography is a Southern California based wedding and portrait photography studio specializing in photojournalistic fine art weddings. Welcome to my blog!

I’ve known Pia since college, and to be in touch with her still after all this time makes me happy. When she first shared the news about meeting Ryan, she was sitting in our dining area with some of our other friends. Curious, we made her show us pictures and tell us stories about how they met and such. Pia had this glow on her while she talked about him and I knew this guy was going to be it. To say that I was over-excited when she said she got engaged was an understatement!

Engagement Session at Venice

We lucked out and found this fabulous looking boat just parked there. So we thought, why not?

They brought their puppy Daisy along for the shoot. Although I grew up being scared of dogs in general, which I’m glad I got over with now, I do have such a soft spot for boxers.

Grace Lin beautified Pia that afternoon. I love how she’s able to make her look made up, without overly making her up, if you know what I mean. I can’t wait to see how beautiful she’ll look on her wedding day!

This is one of my favorites! Daisy is so well-behaved. I wanted to take her home with me after the session, seriously!

After our session, they took me to KoreaTown for some Kbbq! I can still taste the beef, LOL! Thank you guys!

While I was archiving past weddings/sessions, I came across some photos from last year that didn’t make the blog :)

More to add to this list…

I met Debbie and Andy at Debbie’s brother’s wedding in April, which still is one of my favorite weddings. I fell in love with this family from the start. Almost immediately, I gained a ton of Facebook friends from just their family and friends alone. So when I learned that Andy finally popped the question, I was ecstatic and secretly crossing my fingers that they pick me again :)

When we shot their epic engagement session, I just knew I’d be shooting the cutest couple ever!

Bow tie how-to’s? Check YouTube :)

Debbie’s niece and flower girl Aniya didn’t leave her side.

The first look!

I adore these ladies!

I love how the boys were in their suspenders!

The Portofino Hotel’s lobby was insanely gorgeous. I love the pattern on the wall!

And yes, I love all the beautiful furniture that came with it.

My favorite shot, maybe ever. Debbie is always mistaken to be a model, even when we were shooting their engagement session. Andy, you are one lucky guy! :)

Just minutes before the wedding ceremony started, one of the yacht owners offered his boat to us for a shoot! Wish we had more time to explore it!

Debbie’s mom is a talented florist! She also did the flowers at her son John and Christina’s wedding in April.

I adore these curtains!

Best expression from a bride, ever!

Little details make a huge difference.

Andy’s family does cakes! They’re the talent behind Tasteful Cakes. I think they did the best one yet.

There was no dancing at this wedding. I’m kinda grateful for that, or else this post would be twice as big ;)

Debbie and Andy, thank you soooo much for having me and Devi at your wedding!
