So excited to finally be able to blog some of the photos I took with my Holga! A couple of weeks ago I joined some friends out at a film shoot in Pala. I unfortunately did not bring my digital so all I have on here are the film scans I got back from the lab. I have to say, I looooved shooting film, even on a simple and cheap Holga. I might go and get a nicer one sometime soon, like maybe a Leica. Here are few of my favorites. No other editing done on these except for the resizing to fit. All crops were in-camera, as shot :)

By the way, I have to admit I wasted a TON of frames, because I kept forgetting to turn to advance the knob and sometimes turned the knob too far past the number. LOL! Oh well, lesson learned ;)

This shot was way underexposed, but I like it as it is!

I love doing concept shoots! Whenever I read magazines or catalogs with fabulous imagery, I always have the need to recreate it. For this Shutter Project, I invited a couple of people I hang out with on photography-related GTG’s to shoot with and started to brainstorm on some ideas and props relating to one of my favorite catalogs, Anthropologie.

For this shoot, I decided to cast the beautiful Emily Hively. I am so thrilled to work with her again. She’s the stylist who helped me and some friends with the wardrobe for our Black and White Widow Shutter Project and I thought she’d be perfect for the concept! Not only because she’s beautiful but also because as a stylist, she would have tons of clothes and know how to properly put them together, Anthro-style ;)

It was a successful group effort and I’m so happy to finally be able to blog it!

Since reorganizing our Wedding Photography packages for 2010, our rates have become simpler, and our process more streamlined. And with all this new approach, we’ve also simplified our packaging. We started testing our new DVD case in the Summer of ‘09 and we’ve gotten great response from our clients! So, here it is… :)
