A couple of weeks ago, I took part in a special project with Flashes of Hope, a non-profit organization that is geared towards helping create uplifting portraits of children fighting cancer and other life threatening illnesses. The event, which took place at Griffith Park in downtown Los Angeles, was a great success. I’m extremely grateful to the wonderful volunteers from Flashes of Hope and Kaiser for this amazing experience. To make a contribution and help raise money for pediatric cancer research, click here.

I love photographing kids! Especially if they’re not quite a year old yet and have just started to hold herself up. Meet baby Ava. She’s 9 months old, and other than having the talent to chew on her mom’s Mac Book, she also has a knack for getting one’s attention with her big brown eyes and toothless smile :)

I’m excited to be posting new photos of this little cutie pie! Cassandra has been featured on the blog over a year ago and what a difference 16 months make. Cassandra is a child model for some of the popular brands for kids, and she needed to update her portfolio! I’m so happy to be doing another session this year :)
