Family
Two weekends ago, I had the pleasure of hanging out with the Bautista family in San Diego. The shoot mainly focused on their grandpa, who was visiting from the Bay Area. These two are my favorites from the session :)

This is the first time we were ever booked not for the client herself, but for her friends. Betty is visiting from Hong Kong and was welcomed by her friends, the Chengs, during her stay. What better gift to give than a family fun at the park with a fun photographer — me! :) For this session, we opted to go to Lacy Park close to their home. It was a hot summer afternoon at the park and the place was busy, but they were all smiles all throughout the day. Makes it all the more fun!
This little peanut is one happy baby! I enjoyed following her around and just shooting whatever it was she was doing ;)
I loooove this father-son moment!
Like father, like daughters :)
I love this series of these two. A rare moment without chaos and the kids!
Another cute moment with Neal and his dad
Before we ended the session, I was asked to capture their “Kiss Attack”. I thought it was adorable.
This is my favorite in the entire session! Love this!
Grandma with her daughters
And of course, a photo of Betty! Thank you for contacting our studio for this awesome gift for your friends. I had so much fun hanging out! Big hugs to you!
Thank you, Cheng family for the laughs! And for a scorching hot day, you guys managed to look fresh all afternoon! Wow! ;)
This is the biggest family we’ve shot: 17 people! We were out in Newport Beach for this sesh on a hot afternoon so while I worked the camera, my hubs worked the reflector like a genius :) This shoot was pretty much centered around their grandma and grandpa, who braved the heat, the sand and the long path to our location.
I love this capture of them! I remember suggesting they walk like boyfriend-girlfriend, and this obviously brought out some giggles.
When I called on the ladies, they got in order so quick! It’s like they’re made for this :)
But when it’s the guys’ turn… it took a woman to get them to line up right ;) And they still behave like this!
Thatta way, sweetheart!
Cute little Trinity!
She loved cuddling with grandpa. So cute!
And lastly, the whole team!
To the Laysons, thank you so very much for your trust! It was great to meet all of you!
