Seven months later, they said their I do’s. What makes me happier is the fact that Anne and Paul allotted a full hour for portraits, and even decided to do a First Look before the ceremony. My kind of clients!

This has got to be one of my favorite images to date! I love how Anne’s veil moved with the wind.

If you are a bride and considering adding a second shooter to your package, I can’t recommend it enough. While I was shooting the image above, my second shooter Jacob was off to the side shooting the image below.

I love how a groom always has a smile when his bride is coming down the aisle to meet him. Paul looks almost giddy to me :)

I truly enjoyed working with Jacob! He was always looking at me making sure he wasn’t in the way, and he always went for an angle totally different from mine. This below is his.

After a while, Anne changed to her Áo dài during the traditional table visits to personally thank the guests and receive awesome gifts!

There was a whole lot of dancing at this wedding! I love how their guests were boogieing like it’s nobody’s business. And of course, not only was I in the dance floor… I was IN the circle ;)

The day ended with everyone dancing to the music and enjoying the company of the new Mr. and Mrs. Tran. Anne and Paul, thank you so much for the privilege of being part of your special day!

Huong and Thien’s wedding is coming up in just a few days! I can’t wait :)

When I met Sarah and Andrew last year just before New Year’s, I just knew that if they pick me, this would be one of my favorite events to shoot ever. And I was right. Unlike most couples prepping for their wedding, Sarah and Andrew were very laid back. They knew what they wanted for their wedding, but all that, was just cake topping for the most important thing of all: the celebration of being one. Even when they were weeks before the wedding as I shot their engagement session, it was evident that all this was really about them: their love for each other and the anticipation of being married after 8 long years of courtship.

Isn’t Sarah gorgeous? She’s stunning with or without makeup!

These shoes from JCrew are so pretty. Love the simplicity.

The girls got ready at a room in the church building which doesn’t have a window, so I had to make do of what I have available. One of the couple’s friends held the gown for me atop this balcony :)

I love this shot! Andrew has his eyes locked on her, and the officiant, Bernie (who’s an old friend of theirs), is just beaming with pride :)

This was the part where I needed to wipe a tear. Touching exchange of sweet words… I was speechless.

While I was photographing the girls, Cindee had some fun with the boys :)

Before heading out to the reception, we took a couple of portraits at The Montage in Laguna Beach. It was cloudy that day, but gorgeous nonetheless.

These jars were lit with candles. Love all the blues and yellows!

This is seriously one of the raddest seating arrangements I’ve ever seen!

It kinda feels like watching Barbie and Ken dance in the night. They are THAT beautiful to look at!

To my future brides & grooms, yes… I’m always in the dance floor. Especially when you got the smoke machine doing its thing.

And yep, while the others were dancing, some were playing croquet! I love this wedding!

Did I mention the ride? Yes, that’s a vintage Corvette. Love!

Sarah and Andrew, thank you SO very much for having me at your wedding! The day couldn’t have been more perfect. With you two being the happiest bride and groom ever, I can’t think of any other couple more fitting than you are for each other. Congratulations! So happy to hear you had a fabulous time in Hawaii/Kauai! Much love to you both :)

We found this swing at the top-most part of this hill, which pretty much gives you a full view of the Avalon landing. I’m sooo happy to have such amazing clients who will put up with my requests. Thank you Huong and Thien for being such troopers! And of course when they asked ME to get on it, I didn’t have the guts to do so. Ha! :)

I have to include this last photo of Thien. For the record, I have no responsibility whatsoever for making him do this crazy stunt. I only cheered him on :)
