Family

The day I was to meet Mich and Steve, there was some light showers forecast in the area where we were planning our shoot. Since we’re doing a family shoot with their two kids, we decided to play it by ear and see how the day goes. By mid afternoon, the sky was clear and there was not a drop of rain, so we quickly headed out to take advantage of the awesome light.

I love the flare on this one!

Some of you might remember Cassandra from a few weeks ago

We tried to have Sebastian do a “peek-a-boo” too many times on this hole that we grew tired and let him do whatever he wanted. Turned out great, don’t you agree?

This is probably one of the very few photos of the two sitting still :)

Off to feed the duckies in the pond!

My fave!

I love this shot of Steve giving Sebastian his first duck-feeding experience.

I think this shot was hilarious. This family photo took just seconds to shoot; the kids quickly got tired of laying down on the grass and were ready to jump to the next activity.

I thought shooting one toddler was challenging enough, but two?! Boy I was in for a surprise. A fun surprise, that is! Mich and Steve, thank you for letting me be a part of your afternoon. :)

Personal

I have been feeling crappy the past week with my allergies but it did not deter me from going out and enjoying the sunshine on Saturday afternoon. Oh how I love downtown Brea! Those who live close to the area will agree when I say Brea is probably one of the most charming small cities to live in here in California. There’s plenty to do here!

Below are just some photos I took as we strolled around…

Brea

This alley is actually part of a restaurant on Brea Blvd.

… And this is part of the alley’s facade.

I love these fountains! I’m not sure I like the idea of the water running all the way to the sidewalk, but I’m partial to the colors! I love orange!

My cutiepie hubby is usually camera-shy, but he’s letting me post his picture just this once. :) Thanks, Bee!

Engagement

I love this couple! Cece and Robert are so much fun and were totally up for anything! They actually got married 6 months ago, but didn’t have any engagement photos that showed their vibrant personalities. I guess that’s where I come in!

Robert is doing a great job getting a laugh out of Cece.

These two are so in love, it’s easy to tell from how they interact with each another.

OMG! I could swear I was shooting Mr. and Mrs. McSteamy!

And finally, a real kiss! Robert only got as far as an “almost kiss”, and was ecstatic that he gets to plant one on his beautiful wife at the end of the shoot :)

Cece and Robert, I had so much fun with you guys! Thank you for spending the afternoon with me.
