Kids

Last weekend I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Keanu. You guessed it… he was conceived in Hawaii, hence the name :) He’s his parents’ second child and boy did this little man come out with a bang! His mom shared her experience with her anesthesia-free labor. Ouch! Not that it was planned that way; Keanu just couldn’t wait any longer. So there he was, out and about, within 3 hours of his mom’s supposed 10-hour labor.

I could just bite those tiny toes!

The window right by the couch provided some awesome lighting

In momma’s arms

He looked so peaceful as he slept

Getting some love from the big sis

Keanu totally hated being in this position, but I thought he looked soooo cute!

I couldn’t help doing baby talks as we did the session; I think I may have amused myself more than I did the baby :)

Keanu sure is one happy baby! If my hubby and I were to have a baby (hopefully soon!), I wish he’s gonna be as cute as this one right here. Thanks for letting me share the fun afternoon with you.

Huggies to you all!

Just Cause

This week, Arnoud, a friend of mine, goes back to his homeland, the Netherlands. He came to the United States last year to intern for a design company in LA County where he did some design and programming work. Although he would’ve wanted to stay, he has to go home and finish his last year of school. I’d been trying to talk him into getting some portraits done, and finally just before he left, he gave in. I don’t respond well to “no”… just ask my husband! :) So here are a few of the shots we took.

Enjoying his “farewell” cigar

Arn, always remember that you have friends here that will miss you. Good luck with everything, and we hope to see you again soon!

Personal

My trip to New York with my sister Aiden wouldn’t be complete without portraits! So here she is, my gorgeous sis…

She’s a great model, but I have to say, she’s quite good behind the camera too. Here’s one photo she took of me…
