Family, Kids

Marj and Arpee are such awesome parents. They’re hands on with their kids; in fact when they had their first-born, they adjusted their schedules so they could take turns in taking care of their baby. Now that they have two, they’re even more determined to still keep their children on top of their priority list. I saw how they are with their kids, and believe me when I say that when my husband and I have kids, I would very much want to be like them.

Below are some photos I captured of them having fun at home…

Kaelyn and Adrian are just so well-behaved!

The closeness between Arpee and his son just melts my heart

Cuteness overload!

I love this set.

Getting some love from momma

Kaelyn is totally daddy’s girl. I love this capture!

Ahh, finally. Some couch action for mom and dad…

… which didn’t last very long :)

Later, we headed out to a local park with some family entourage who kept the kids preoccupied. I just love it when friends and family come out for support! Yay for some lovey-dovey shots of mom and dad!

And another one

This photo makes me laugh. You guys have no idea how we had the kids laughing so hard… we had some fabulous amusement behind the photographer!

A moment with mommy and her baby girl. I can’t get enough of this cutepie!

And of course, what are park pictures without some grass action?

And one last for the road, which happens to be my favorite…

Marj and Arpee, thank you so very much for welcoming me into you home. I had a fabulous time meeting your family and hanging out at the park. Your kids are so darn cute!

Personal

I’ve had reports from a lot of people that my blog comments had issues in IE 6/7. It was frustrating tinkering around with my CSS for days with no luck. Other people would normally have their phone handy to call their web developers… but not me. After all, I built this blog myself… on a Mac, go figure. That, and my logo, branding and business cards. But days like these when things don’t work, that I wish I could pass this problem off to someone else!

Finally today, I figured it out! Yay! I won’t bore you with explanations on how I did it (Geek talk alert flashing!)… I’m just glad it’s resolved!

Since no photography-related issue is involved in this post, I leave you with a shot I took last weekend. I mean, what is a photography blog without photos, right? This photo was taken in Newport Beach. The water was mighty cold but that didn’t stop these kids from hitting the waves. Only in California…

Newport Beach

Hope you’re all having a wonderful Memorial Day weekend! Be safe!

Personal

Bee and I were out all day Saturday so I was looking forward to vegging out on the couch on Sunday. We started the day with some awesome home-cooked brunch while watching the Angels game on TV. I was doing some work on my computer when he rushed into the room to announce that we were going to Balboa Pier in Newport Beach. I love it when we do spontaneous things like that! It’s not much; we’re not spending a whole lot of money, but to see someone’s excitement of having to spend the afternoon with you is priceless. So even if I had my mind set on a lazy Sunday, we decided why not have a lazy Sunday on the beach instead? :)
