Photography

Two weekends ago, I was invited by Merissa and Noah to join them on a fun afternoon shooting three beautiful people (Brooke, Korey and Kaylie) at a park in Fullerton. It was my rest day, and had nothing but sleep in my itinerary so I thought I’d come along since the place was just minutes from me. Below are just some of my favorites :)

Engagement

Two weekends ago, I had the pleasure of meeting Michelle and Junior for the first time. I’ll be photographing their wedding in October next year, and I was anxious to know more about them, how they met, and what their plans are for the future. As a wedding photographer, I can be talking with my brides about these things and hear their excitement over the phone, but nothing, NOTHING compares to actually seeing the twinkle in their eyes as they speak of the man they’re about to marry.

Junior is enlisted and is leaving the country in a few weeks and so we decided to shoot their e-session before he leaves. I could feel how badly they will miss each other during the time he’ll be away; and as I shot this session, I felt so grateful that I got to be part of something very special.

You can’t tell by looking at these that it was an extremely chilly day in Southern California at this time, and Junior had to have his jacket close for when we’re not shooting!

I looove how this one turned out!

Towards the end of the session, a restaurant owner saw us practically freezing our buns off in the cold, so he invited us in to shoot in his club room. I thought it was the perfect time to play with some off-camera flash.

Michelle and Junior, I can’t thank you enough for your trust, and your friendship. I’m looking forward to a fun time at your wedding in Laguna Hills!
