When I met Christina and John for the first time last year, I knew I wanted to shoot their wedding. Christina is like a ray of sunshine; her smile lights up a room. And John just looks at her like no one else is around ;)

Their wedding theme is somewhat vintage and so it was cool to pattern their engagement session the same way. When I hinted a concept inspired by the movie The Notebook, they were all for it! They not only shopped for the cutest wardrobe and rented some amazing stuff from Found Vintage Rentals… they also booked this amazing, private venue for the day! Everything was put together and styled by the bride and groom. Seriously, how did I get so lucky?

So first off, my favorite shot of the day!

It’s not The Notebook, without a lake and a row boat! Though, it was challenging to shoot something that seemed to not want to quit turning non-stop, LOL!

It rained that week but luckily, we got the last dose of sunshine just before the storm hit!

Every time I get them to kiss, they can’t seem to stop ;)

I thought on this one, John looked like Matthew McConaughey and Christina like Scarlett Johansson ;)
